Great food! Love their double decker pizza. Generous portion size (always have leftovers).

Such a bummer that TWICE they gave forgotten chopped garlic on my pizza. Last time they said they'd credit me a topping. Not in the system. This time they argued and said the manager remembered putting garlic on the pizza. Pretty hard to miss the taste of garlic. I go here because its across the street. I'LL order from Rosatis instead, and have it delivered. Shocked that they would argue over a 1.80 topping charge with someone who orders 20 times a year. Starting to understand why this place is often EMPTY...

Best pizza I've ever had. The thin crust is super thin and cooked perfectly. The fried pickles are also delicious...the dill sauce is to die for and if you're a drinker, they have the best bloody Mary's around!

While visiting my Mom in Spring Grove we decided to grab a bite to eat at Tammy's Pizza & Pasta. Albeit a long ride north from Chicago, the pizza here always hits the spot. Tammy's is located near the Chain-O-Lakes and is even closer to the Chain-O-Lakes State Park. Tammy's serves up piping hot pizza, flavorsome appetizers, ice cold beer and a good time. During my last visit we ordered the Bosco Sticks; their cheese filled breadsticks accompanied with pizza sauce and a large Mexican Pizza; taco seasoned ground beef, tomatoes, green onions, black olives, jalapeños with cheddar and mozzarella cheese. The Bosco Sticks were a great start to the meal and the Mexican Pizza was both piquant and appetizing. Our saucy server kept the beer flowing and, most importantly, kept my Mom content. Tammy's Pizza & Pasta is a great little place off State Park Road. Are you in the mood for saucy servers, piping hot pizza, flavorsome appetizers, ice cold beer and a good time? Then Tammy has got you covered. Tammy, thanks for feeding me when I come to visit my Mom, who knows what she might try to stir up in her own kitchen. Until my next visit!

I've had the pleasure of having Tammy's pizza delivered to my in-laws when I visit. Two nights ago we decided to dine in and I was pleasantly surprised by the service and time it took us to get our food. There were 4 of us that had different tastes so we ordered two appetizers and two pizzas with 4 different toppings. Our glasses never went empty and our waitress knew the perfect times to come check on us. Being from and living in Chicago, I wish Tammy's was in the city. Good stuff, and I can't wait to come back! So delicious!

While out a couple weeks ago my husband and I "discovered" Tammy's. Let me just say we're so happy we did! We have become completely addicted to Tammy's pizza. This is by far the best pizza we have had in a very long time. Oh and try the fried pickles they are to die for!

Didn't even bother ordering from them..the man actually had me on hold(for literally 12 min) cause he was too" busy" drinking with his customers at the bar.. big no no for customer service. Will never be ordering from them again. Plus delivery is actually an hour.. who wants to wait that long

We order from here anytime were visiting family right up the road. We love your pizza Tammy's, but your service is awful. We've given you a lot of chances but every time we order, the pizza is late or the order is wrong. Most the time we do carry out. (Family lives literally 2 minutes down the road). You tell us 30 minutes, we show up on time, and end up waiting 20 minutes for our order. You've got one more chance, and then were finding a new pizza place. Heres a free easy lesson. Stop telling people 30 minutes. Start telling them 50 minutes. Train your FOH people better. Customers expect you to hit your times within +\- 5-7 minutes.

Pizza is good, other food is OK. Service is bad, 95% of the time Ive had something delivered it's forgot or wrong. So now I just do carry out. It's the closest restaurant to my house so I do eat there a lot because of the convience. If there was something else near by I'd go there due to the bad service here. Like I said though food is decent would give more stars if service was better.

Best thin crust pizza ever, and I've tried a lot of different pizzas :) Love this place. Great prices, you can throw peanuts on the ground, friendly staff and the beer is always cold and delish. Very family oriented and the staff is always helpful and friendly. Looooove this place.

**Be aware if you place a delivery order, you may not see your food for over 2 hours!!** I was extremely disappointed with the 3-5 times we have ordered from here. Each time, delivery was late or food order was incorrect. We are new to the area (1 year) and each time we have ordered from Tammy's; we have spent well over $50. Last night, we ordered food for delivery and the girl who answered the phone said it would be an hour to an hour and a half (I placed the order at 5:57 pm). At 7:57, I was on the phone to Tammy's asking where my food is. I was told they are JUST NOW boxing it up and it will be out for delivery within the next 10 minutes. I told her, "That is totally unacceptable. If I knew it would take over 2 hours for our food to be delivered, I would have offered to pick it up or simply ordered elsewhere." Then, the girl who answered the phone wanted to argue what time I placed my order. She says, "You placed the order at 6:55 pm." I said very angrily, "NO! I placed my order at 5:57. 5:57!!!! It is now 8:00 pm and you're telling me my food hasn't even left the building?! This is TOTALLY unacceptable!!" The girl rudely replied, "Ok." I said, "Ok?! Ok?! That is all Tammy's has to say about dropping the ball like this? I certainly won't be ordering from Tammy's in the future and I will recommend that my friends not order from Tammy's, either." The girl, again, rudely replied, "Ok." What I gathered from this experience is, Tammy's feels that one angry and disappointed customer does not matter in the grand scheme of things. I was further disappointed to see my review/complaint on Tammy's Facebook page removed, as well. Which, to me, signals proof that Tammy's will only try to sweep bad service under the rug instead of finding a suitable way to rectify the situation. Shame on you, Tammy's Pizza! Your ribs are the best in the area. We are forced to find ribs elsewhere. With terrible service like this, your good food can only take you so far. In an era where we have Yelp!, Google+, Facebook, Urbanspoon, Trip Advisor, Yahoo! or whatever other social media sites a person can use to spread the word about terrible food or service, you would think a small town business like Tammy's would be worried about their reputation. Instead, I think they are getting cocky like they are a big time, Fortune 500 company, and you are now resorted to being a "number" and not a "valued customer". Disgusted. Don't waste your time. Whenever we see a Tammy's vehicle in the neighborhood, we like to joke that they ordered that food 3 weeks ago.

Excellent thin crust pizza in an unpretentious and a seriously kid-friendly pizza joint. Peanuts are served at the tables and you are expected to dump the shells on the floor as you consume them. Great fun for the kids, but stay away from this place if you have a peanut allergy! The restaurant gets pretty crowded with locals on weekend nights, but I have never had difficulty getting a table within 10 or so minutes of arriving. Pizza is the best in the area. The last time we ordered it, though, it was a little disappointing. We got pepperoni on one side and cheese on the other. The 'za seemed to have less cheese than usual and the pepperoni was so salty I could only eat a few slices. My 4 star rating was for the many years I've eaten at this place and loved the thin crust pizza. If they have changed the recipe and the pizza we had this weekend is the new standard, then I will be sadly lowering this rating in the future. Fingers crossed it was a glitch.

Love the pizza at Tammy's. It is very traditional midwestern pizza. No out-of-the ordinary toppings to be had. That said, it is always delicious. Atmosphere? Your basic cinder block motif. There is something positive to be said for all the corny hunting and fishing posters that adorn the men's restroom. Yes, they to have the ever popular dogs playing poker poster. Love to sweep the peanut shells onto the floor. Something primal about that!. Not a great selection of beer, but something for everybody. I echo the sentiment of one of the other reviewers when they say the oven can get overwhelmed. Once had to wait almost an hour past the scheduled pick-up time. It is a small space, so I would recommend going early or late, but avoid prime hours if possible.

We went to the one in Richmond. The verdict is so-so. 1. Service was friendly, but she was running so ragged, we barely saw her. 2. Fried appetizers were fried in the same oil they fry fish in. We didn't eat any of them. 3. I thought the pizza was OK--sauce a little too sweet for me but I liked the super thin crust and FRESH mushrooms, not canned. I am in the minority in my family, though. Husband and kids loved it. 4. On the plus side, they have Blue Moon on tap. That made for a nice pizza n' beer night. Kids got Dog n' Suds Root Beer--it's a local fave. 5. Prices were good. We had a coupon for the crummy appetizer (glad we didn't pay for it)...and it's a HUGE plus that they support the high school in it's fundraising efforts (we got the coupon from a collection we bought from a kid on the basketball team). We'll probably be back. Great family place where everyone knows everyone else.

I lived down the road from Tammy's a few years back, and this was our pizza destination. Their thin crust pizza is phenomenal, their sandwiches are all tasty, and while I would usually do carryout, their small dining room was always attended well, and a classic northwoods peanut shells on the floor animal heads on the wall charmer. My only negative is their pizza oven gets overwhelmed on the weekends and the sometimes the waits can get long, but I can't say enough kind things about Tammy's.

The best thin crust pizza in the Chain O Lakes area, hands down. Family friendly atmosphere. Nice little 6 stool bar where you can nosh on peanuts and get a beer (or other alcoholic drink) and either wait for your order or eat right there.....while watching their new plasma tv. Or you can sit in the restaurant and get table service. Good cold tap beer, clean beer lines! What makes their pizza so great besides the thin crust, great sausage and great sauce.......I don't know, they just are. Great pasta dishes. Nice salads. Good sandwiches too. All in all a wonderful place to meet some friends, make some new friends and just all in all have a nice meal at a very reasonable price.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
